Heads up you guys. So far I have neither seen with my own eyes, not received reports about ANYONE either celebrating an assassination attempt on a former President, or sympathizing with the shooter.
THANK YOU.
And I mean that - because I know many folks here can't abide Trump (including myself), but you're keeping your dignity and COSO's reputation handy.

Seriously? There were piles of posts doing exactly that.
But not a single report. I can't see everything as it flies by in realtime.
@th3j35t3r
I'm kind of glad you missed it, because it was really depressing to see so many people behaving that way over here. That's why several of us were posting about block fests.
The silver lining I guess is that a lot of that seems to have died down (or I blocked most of the people posting these things). Elsewhere I'm sure things will be churning for days.
@voltronic @th3j35t3r I vote yes. Clear violations of the no dickhead clause. $0.02
Celebrating political violence... aye! But laughing at a felon who got a grazed ear... the same felon we were laughing at yesterday, before he got a grazed ear, not so much.

Yeah, 'celebrating political violence' accurately describes a bunch of what I saw. I'll report in the future.
I saw several in responses to my own thread on the subject. I deliberately chose to ignore them.
@th3j35t3r @kel @voltronic Even I feel pretty bad for that poor bystander.
That's the problem: there's often - perhaps even usually - collateral damage, and once it's done you can't really put the genie back in the bottle.
From an objective perspective, though, it would be interesting to study (if it were possible to study such a thing without any price being paid) what kind of shifts would happen in politics if power was turned into an often-deadly hot potato - who would seek power then?
@voltronic @th3j35t3r
Really good question.

Just so we're all clear: Are such posts in violation of ToS?
