He's a tool, no doubt. But don't you go using 'elementary teacher' as a slur. I've taught every grade K-12 and you WORK teaching that age group.

Sorry if I came off snippy. I'm sure @th3j35t3r didn't intend to lump people in. I am just very defensive about people concluding that teaching younger students is for lesser-skilled teachers. It couldn't be farther from the truth.
@voltronic @th3j35t3r No worries. As I said, I do not have the patience it takes. Teachers get a bad rap now days. It's a tougher job than I would want to take on and I have owned 3 restaurants. More power to you and I hope you get the recognition you deserve where you teach. Cheers!

@voltronic @th3j35t3r I don't remember using the term but, I could not be a teacher of any age group, I do not have the patience it takes. I suspect @th3j35t3r was not putting all teachers in one basket when he said it. I am guessing it would have been more about the one person he is referring to in his post and I personally would not have that person teaching my children anything.
