Would all of these "inspirational" videos of musicians COMING TOGETHER IN HARMONY through the POWER OF MUSIC do it with something besides BEETHOVEN'S ODE TO FUCKING JOY?!?!??!
I have nothing against Beethoven's 9th, but there is SO MUCH amazing music out there. Recycling the same few "hits" reduces "classical" music to predictable memes. It dumbs things down for the audience instead, of expanding their knowledge and experience.

I'm cool with that if they're doing it for patriotic reasons. Otherwise, it's just being chosen because it's safe and popular.
You want people to appreciate the music you play more? Give them more to appreciate along with the things they love already.
