I have never heard his performance of Messiaen's "Vingt Regards sur l'Enfant..."
It's really something! So unbelievably energetic and playful and polychromatic really, when it's usually played with gravitas and somber reverence, along a traditional style like .
Which is beautiful in it's own way, but this is really something. Exploding and bounding through almost gleefully stressing Messiaen's beautiful strangeness.
Thank you for pointing him out here and may he RIP.
