Are murderers born or made?
From someone who has listened to a fair amount of #truecrime podcasts 😉 my take (although I have no idea actually) but.. one current school of thought is it's kind of both.
Serial killers' brain x-rays show abnormalities but seemingly it takes a triggering event to cause them to act. I've heard discussions about pedophiles having had a triggering event in adolescence. Although not everyone who has had a trigger event turns killer - thankfully.
@ellesu @WhiteRose In my psych classes they had a saying that Giddeon on Criminal Minds said once. "Genetics loads the gun. Psychology aims. Environment pulls the trigger."
That follows what I've heard also. And.. btw I really like Criminal Minds.
