I hate my eyes, that will never see 20/20 even with glasses. I can never really see what I'm focusing on when I pull out my macro lens, not until I go inside and blow the picture up, then I just toss what isn't in focus. So when the camera finds a tiny mystery, the chance to inspect more closely is gone. Is it a slug with eggs on it? Is it a vine? No idea. Will probably never know. As a curious person, this sucks.
@Shelter Okay, cool. It must be growing into the cap, it wasn't visible from above. Man I wish I would have seen that, it would have been so cool to cut the cap open!
@tippitiwichet I wish I could tell you. But I can't see shit either. It does suck.
My SLR has a diopter dial I can use to adjust the viewfinder to compensate for not wearing glasses.
@mcfate Hmm. My camera is a camcorder my mom gave me years ago, with a $15 macro lens and the settings are limited. If I ever get the chance to pick out a nice one myself, I'm going to remember that, it sounds super helpful, thanks!
@tippitiwichet Nice picture, though
@mkagle Thank you, that's definitely the camera's fault, lol.
@tippitiwichet
It is a vine or root with insect eggs attached to it. ❤
