It occurred to me that the entire God vs. Satan dynamic is an exact replica of the police force "good cop, bad cop" pathology.
God says "obey me or you will go to Hell, or be captured by Satan".
Personally my belief is that God is our good side and Satan is our bad side. Otherwise none of this makes any damn sense.

@jordicusmaximus @gshevlin that’s my honest opinion about religion. If the great deceiver is so great at what he does, he’d corrupt the sources of information that believers use, and ultimately their religions. I could go on, but unless there’s interest I’ll spare you the lecture
