Is there any credible information available regarding the purpose of the Chinese balloons? While I understand the inclination to make assumptions, it is important to approach the situation objectively and avoid jumping to conclusions, especially since the balloons don't seem to be weather balloons. Just curious about the situation, even though the Pentagon hasn't said anything yet and there's only talk of an explosion.

So HBO Max's series seemingly gets worse at every single turn. People wanted them to include Scooby, but oh man.

Article: 5 ways to be a better man.

Yes but what if I want to be even worse?

Job interview tomorrow, so wish me luck.

This is used a lot in reporting when you don't want to make speculations or something without proof.

"Funds were stolen" by whom? We don't know yet, but we know they were stolen, it may not even be really that important.

Contrary to what your English teacher may have taught you, there's nothing wrong with the passive voice at all. There's many reasons to use it, for example if the object of the sentence is more important than the subject.

"DNA was discovered by Rosalind Franklin" if you're writing about DNA, but "Rosalind Franklin discovered DNA" if you're writing about Rosalind Franklin.

Or perhaps no subject at all "funds were stolen"

Please normalize not confusing "I'm not doing anything" with "I'm free" or "sure we can hang out."

Sometimes, I'm actively doing nothing.

"so are you the 'I can do a months worth of work in 8hrs' neurodivergent or are you the 'making toast is hard' neurodivergent?"

"Yes."

I almost forgot it was Martin Luther King Jr. Day until Google reminded me.

Thanks, I guess?

I can't express how utterly pointless I find job interviews.

"So why did you apply for this job?"
You were hiring.
"What is your dream job?"
I don't exactly dream of labor, so I guess I'd work on projects that I like
"What makes you want to work for us?"
You responded to my résumé before anyone else.

Add on the fact that I go through all this nonsense, and they may not even call me back to tell me "yeah we didn't hire you. Best of luck in the future."
