@LnzyHou one of the joys of atheism is that I don't need to wrestle with the passages of the bible that condemn homosexuality as a sin. It's pretty clear about that. It's definitely a sin.
The difference is that I reject the concept of sin as a violation against God, since I have no good reason to believe that a god exists.
@LnzyHou Better to have your ethics based upon the wellbeing of people than sin. It feels great not to have to search desperately for a bible quote like some lawyer looking to get his gay client off on a technicality. I can just ask myself whether an action contributes to the wellbeing of those affected.
