@cassandra17lina I've said this before, and it bears repeating. We should have a political donation cap that applies to everyone (including corporations). You're allowed to contribution up to $5000 more than you pay in federal taxes.

If you want to throw around money like Elmo, you ought to have at least paid that much in taxes. No representation without taxation.

@sfleetucker @cassandra17lina I think it should be zero dollars over what was paid in tax for corporations. And eliminate the PAC workaround while we are at it. Anything donated to a PAC counts.

@S_r_stone @cassandra17lina Agreed on PACs. I'm trying to avoid another Supreme Court loss by making it the same for people and corporations and making sure even poor people can choose to donate, even if they don't pay income tax.

Not sure how we don't screw non-profits and unions. :(
