@poemblaze It sounds to me like they brilliantly tricked the bad guys into putting bombs in their pockets and walking around in public.
How many normal people got pager bombs to the face?

Addendum. The concept is brilliant. Don't know how much collateral damage there may or may not have been. Usually when a cellphone bursts into flames it's only the owner who is injured.
