This is important information to get out, especially in light of the building obstinacy of more & more GOP members of Congress trying to kill the Impeachment trial erroneously based only on the ONE clause about "removal from office", and not the relevant clause specifically used in the actual Articles referring to barring from US offices of Public Trust!

a growing number of Republican Congreespersons are jumping on a bandwagon to object to the Impeachment trial n grounds that Trump's no longer in office, so convicting him cannot remove him from office, AND since he is now a pvt citizen, they no longer have juridiction over him for any conviction(s).

--Patently untrue since a specific provision in the Aritcles under which he was impeached call for barring him from holding US Public Office EVER again. a SEPARATE conviction from removal, and totally valid under the law, against a person no longer in office.
