Another pet peeve of mine: people who insist that you discuss something on the phone when email would be just fine, but instead of calling you they ask YOU to call THEM. Oh and then they don’t answer even though you called within 5 minutes of them asking.
@holon42 it wasn’t a sensitive discussion so I think it’s the latter. I work with a number of people whose jobs would lead you to expect satisfactory written communication skills but who do things like this because writing words is hard 🙄 but why they insist that I call them when they’re the one who wants to talk on the phone, I have no clue.
leave them a message telling them to call you🤣🤣🤣
@holon42 oh I did, I sent back an email saying I had attempted to call them and reached their voicemail and they could call me back when they were available.
