Small rant. I f'ing hate things like "Pampered Chef" parties. I mean it's just to pressure your friends into buying crap they don't need and can't afford, however, this person has purchased my art so I feel guilted into it. Would you:

@kjo

Unless you really need something, like your favorite stone bar pan broke and it's time to replace. Then say yes and buy it as the benefit is to you both.

@Vanitas I have a tiny kitchen and all I need is my knives, cutting board and pans. No gadgets allowed. So, there's nothing I "need" really.

@kjo
I hate them too. The last one I was guilted into attending was Mary Kay.

@Beastalowrangler and... Did you buy anything? LOL See these things just work on Catholic guilt. šŸ¤£

@kjo
Just a couple things so I didnā€™t look like a jerk at the ā€œpartyā€ but then she kept calling me to see if I needed resupply.šŸ˜©

@Beastalowrangler @kjo

Thereā€™s a lady in my neighborhood that has the pink Mary Kay Cadillac. You have to be pretty committed to the multi-level markeā€¦ uh, I mean, brand, to earn the right to lease one apparently. I get thereā€™s a social aspect but it boggles my mind people will commit themselves that much to someone elseā€™s scheme.

@Smersh @kjo
You have to LEASE it??? I always heard it was given to those who sold ā€œenoughā€.
