@Lindy DisplayPort cables are notoriously difficult to plug in fully, requiring a lot of force to finally snap into place. Often they look fully in when they are not.
The PIP setting is for Picture in Picture, so that's what you need to edit.
If your navigation buttons are not working, you may have a faulty monitor.
@jurban @Kalos @stueytheround Well, I feel like something of an idiot. My son pointed out that I wouldn't be able to navigate the monitor menu from the keyboard (duh), and showed me the keys on the bottom of the monitor that did that. Anyway, the picture in picture is gone. Thank you.

@jurban God, I hope not. This has been a really good monitor. I had figured that it must be the PIP setting and have been wracking my brains to figure out how to fix it.
