Hopefully my build will go according to both schedule and budget...

@john_b 😂😂😂 happy building
And we wanna know if there will be delays & budget issues 🤑 no pulling a fast one now 😆
@john_b How's the build so far? I don't have this set yet, but plan to get it in the future to add to my space shelf that currently has Saturn V, Apollo Lunar Lander, and the Space Station on display. I have Discovery too, but have not had time to build it yet.
@john_b nicely documented - and on budget & time 😆
@j0n Ooh, I like Orion atop the tower. I'd been trying to figure out where I was going to put that.
@john_b It’s “supposed” to go in the cargo bay but then who’d see it? 😉
@Pungent surely the real one is at least..... three times this size.
@john_b Nice! Is this like a puzzle or does it come with a diagram?
@Kittiekatt53 it's got a ~375 page book of instructions.
@john_b Geez! After page 1, I'd stop reading and do it on my own. Lol
@john_b My very first Lego set was a rocket. This was in 1973, so it was far more primitive than what you're building here. Set 358 if anyone feels like looking it up.
@john_b Okay, so let me tell you a secret box technique that I use: the back of the box is typically glued down. Pry it up, and you can use it as a place to hold your bags and they’re pretty much always ordered 1-whatever from there, too, so you don’t need to sort through them.
@EnochianEntropy Having things in order seems like it would take all the fun out of it 😁
@john_b Do you... not do a mini sort after you open a box....?
@EnochianEntropy Next you're going to ask if I read a recipe before I start cooking something for the first time. 🤣
(I like to fly by the seat of my pants on my off time.)
