A few days ago, Pippin started with a barking cough when he gets excited. We took him to the vet yesterday and they performed an xray and saw "something weird" near his tracheal branches. Results came back from the radiologist today, and they indicate either a tumor or a bad fungal infection. We'll get more info on Monday and line up a CT to confirm.
He's otherwise in great spirits and health but we're worried like hell for him. Positive vibes appreciated.
We are VERY excited to be at a place!
And we *really* want to go meet the Frenchie over there.
All positive vibes for that sweet boy!

@john_b Hope it all turns out well. Take care of that pupper.

@john_b ๐ซ Iโll be thinking of you both! ๐ค๐ค
@john_b Any news on Pippin or do you have to wait?
He finally got his CT, but the machine is being recalcitrant and hasn't yet regurgitated the images to the computers for analysis. It's 6:30 here though so we're taking our still-kinda-stoned pupper and starting the two-hour drive home.
Doctor will call early next week to discuss findings. Disappointed to not have answers today but at least we've got things in motion and a bit of a plan.
Thanks for checking! ๐
@john_b Iโll keep you both in my thoughts. Hoping for good news for Pippin! ๐

@john_b sending good (((vibes))) your way! ๐
@john_b hang in there! I wish y'all the best of luck!
We have scheduled Pippin for a CT with a puppy oncologist on the 26th, our sweet boy's tenth birthday.
I hate waiting. I don't even really know how concerned we should be. This is going to be a long two weeks.
