A J6er is losing her shit at her sentencing today in DC.

Let's just say she is not accepting responsibility for her criming.

The prosecution has asked for 6 years. The defense has asked for leniency. She spent her allocution time airing her many many grievances.

This is Judge Mehta again, and he's been *very* lenient on J6ers in the past. He's gone to his chambers to think for a few minutes.

The DOJ had factored in acceptance of responsibility when making their 6 year sentence recommendation. That no longer applies.

Holy moly. The judge added the terror enhancement.

Federal sentencing guideline formula is now at 10 years.

AS an aside, I once watched a defendant go so aggressive at his own federal sentencing, that he ended up with a 20 year sentence.

Her name is Audrey Southard-Rumsey and this was her on J6.

@jjmacnab Ah. Ain’t finding out fun. She’s gonna learn the hard way.

@jjmacnab LOL--so she should get even more than 6 years and I bet Mehta gives her less

@jjmacnab I just saw MacFarlaneNews' thread on Twitter and haven't picked up my jaw yet

@jjmacnab Ms Southard has significantly increased her sentence. The judge just agreed to add back the terrorism enhancement for consideration in sentencing, and is now quoting her own words from J6 out loud in court.
This is not going to end well for the defendant.

@jjmacnab And the DOJ is asking that she be sent directly to jail after sentencing.
The hole is getting deeper.

@jjmacnab
Bah humbug.
After all of that tough talk, the judge only gave her 6 years.

@jjmacnab This one goes out to my homegirl in DC who just talked herself into the sentencing enhancement for terror
