Ah well, the aches hit me within 3 hours of getting the vaccinations. (Covid & Flu). The pain is really setting in now. I had to go back to bed and I haven't done that during the day for a very long time! Might be a rough night but if history repeats itself, this should be over within 24 hours. Still better to get them!

@homebird
Mine was the same, take the day off, tylenol/ibuprofen, lemon water, movies.

@homebird I tend to be lucky that way. Mild muscle ache at the injection site for a few days. Now, the shingles vax was another matter entirely. Hurt like a bitch going in, and ached for weeks afterward.

@TwiHusband @homebird

Not as much as a case of shingles. I’m proud of you.

@LnzyHou @homebird I had my late mother's example to learn from. The poor woman got a case of shingles once. Everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE. No thanks.

@TwiHusband @LnzyHou It is an extremely painful thing and never truly leaves a person!

@TwiHusband I have an Aussie friend who just got the Shingles vax, and she was in a lot of pain too. For quite some time! I am so sorry.
