I'm beginning the think the only way to save America is to build land suits for Orcas.
Decades ago friends with 41’ sailboat out of San Diego, had their boat attacked by whale while at sea. They believed orcas are miss-identifying white hulls as female orca & are attempting to mate.
Friend told me he wanted to invent sonic device that annoyed the males away. Also was experimenting with hull paint colors.
He’s gone now but I imagine others are working on similar solutions.
