@Y2cake @Idissent @VelvetDuchess OK, this mess is making the news. Reports are from NC, SC, AL, and elsewhere. It's almost certainly just one asshole, likely under 30 y.o., using what Clemson U. students say is an online spoofing site. Whoever is sending these will have to answer to the FBI, the FCC, and probably local law enforcement as well.
