Just saw Elemental. Yet again, Pixar comes with a very relatable human story and incredible innovation in animation techniques. But this movie marks a first for me as an official "old" guy: I don't recognize the names of a single voice actor except Catherine O'Hara. Part of it is that the movie is cast very diversely, in true Disney fashion of late. But a bigger part is that the voice actors/actresses of my "youth" are aging out of the business. Oh well, new is good in this case!

It’s a beautiful movie that made me cry (I love romcoms). I lost it when her father acknowledged at the end.
It was such a loving movie of culture and differences and how even things that seem “reasonable” can be wrong.
