@cassandra17lina When the safety professionals start bailing out, things will be fine, for a while, but after some time without anyone watching, things will start to go wrong. People will die, and it will take a long, long time to get things under control again, if we can.
@EileenKCarpenter I'm talking about people from places like the USDA, FDA Food Safety, CDC, FAA, NHTSA, NTSB and other highly qualified, specialized people you can't replace. If we think the corporations will police themselves, we're fools.

And they'll pay twice what the FDA and NIH and CDC can pay. You won't replace that expertise anytime soon.
