Chonky slipped out when I opened the door to grab a package. I nearly slammed the door on him.
He slipped through the fence to the dog run. I had to go around the building to get him. I grabbed him, and then immediately stepped in a hole, twisted my knees and an ankle, and fell down hard.
Chonky ran. Took me a minute to be able to stand. I limped around, couldn't find him.
He came back a few minutes later, but my ankle is hugely swollen and my knees are wobbly

Cats will be the death of me.

I'm a little better this morning. Left ankle is still pretty bad. Right foot, two toes are also sprained, but not as bad.
Walking is challenging, but I've figured out a sideways shuffle that's not manageable.
But I'm definitely not getting any housework done this weekend.

@guinnessphil

Yeah, Chonky Tonk. He was a feral tom and had fat cheeks when I adopted him. He's lost the cheeks and is now a little on the chonky side now, so the name still fits.
