@gemswinc the Salton Sea area is a wasteland that they’ve been shipping LA’s poor to for long. It seems like they’re being punished.
The scariest thing about the area and this geothermal mining is the fact it’s right on top of a “locked” earthquake fault that’s like 300+ yrs overdue for a major quake. The worst case scenario is the unzipping of the San Andreas.
