“In America, driving green remains a blue phenomenon. Many Republicans in Congress have rejected EVs, with one senator calling them “left-wing lunacy” and part of Democrats’ “blind faith in the climate religion.” The GOP rank and file are also anti-EV. In 2022, roughly half of new EVs in America were registered in the deepest-blue counties, according to a recent analysis from UC Berkeley.”
EV’s are cheaper. Which shows you Republicans really don’t understand money.

Outside Austin in a red rural county — we have people ask all the time, “Is that an EV?” (Chevy Blazer). Had someone at Goodwill say, “Man, I want to turn my (some muscle car—sorry I’m not into cars) in for one of those”.
We’ve had it since May and we love it.
@feloneouscat I live in a deep red county and I’ve been thrilled to own and drive an #EV - the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Sadly, many of my neighbors have been drinking Big Oil’s anti-EV propaganda. This is a great resource for debunking that crap. https://www.faircharge.co.uk/little-book-of-ev-myths
