Liberal activist Cornel West's efforts to get his name on the ballot in Wisconsin as an independent presidential candidate received a boost from Republican operatives who helped collect petition signatures for his candidacy.
West has always been a “meme candidate”—he exists merely to affect the system for his own ego.
It’s not that he stupid, he clearly is not, but he IS egotistical as he knows he has no chance of winning.
That was never his goal. No doubt when he was younger he was making a statement.
Now he is doing actual damage and he doesn’t care.
He isn’t a politician, he is a saboteur. If he cared ONE IOTA about others, he’d withdraw.
He won’t.
In many ways he is no different than Trump.
@feloneouscat Agreed. He, like much of MAGA, is trying to prove the system doesn't work. And so he hammers on it hoping it will break so he can be proven correct.

And what has he done to make people’s lives better?
He needs to learn to get out of the way and let people fix things.
