Republicans are wary of feeding hungry kids.

I’m not joking.

“Oklahoma has decided not to accept government support for a summer feeding program for more vulnerable children. The state decided not to take the funding from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), with Republican Governor Kevin Stitt saying he was wary of the government pushing ‘certain agenda items.’ Stitt said ‘we just don't know enough about the program’”

Then ASK someone you nitwit!

Republicans!!! 🙄

These are the same people who don’t ask for directions for fear of looking weak then get lost in rural Texas.

‘Certain agenda items’? It’s the USDA! They just want to feed people and help ranchers and farmers. OK takes in MILLIONS of dollars from the USDA, but feeding kids has ‘certain agenda items?’

I call bullshit.

Republicans have a hungry children problem.

@feloneouscat they must be afraid that someone will slip in that drug that makes people gay or Dems or both.

You know, dangerous things!

@feloneouscat They don't seem to have a problem with _hungry_ children at all. It seems to warm their hearts as they go to sleep.

It appears they have a problem with kids getting _fed_.

@feloneouscat We agree on far more than we disagree, I think.

I stand by you on your calling bullshit. I wave my bony arms at them also.

@feloneouscat this program has been around since 1968! Wtf? He doesn't know enough about it? If he's that ignorant they need to get him out of the govenors office.

@feloneouscat So they force poor women (who are fearful or just can't afford to travel out of state for an abortion) to have babies, and then they don't want to help feed them. And that will eventually lead to some sort of terrible (and unnecessary) thing happening. 😔
