I am saddened that people arguing that the UFO hearing was bipartisan thus reasonable.
It was not.
It was a waste of time and money. No new policy will be implemented. This was just sound and fury representing nothing.
I’m tired of Congress wasting time on unimportant things.
Okay, so what laws will change? What funding?
There literally was a guy who said he had no firsthand information, just hearsay.
It’s unimportant because it affects nothing.
@feloneouscat It wasn't only ONE guy. Several spoke at the hearing. There was also a press conference by Dr. Steven Greer who is working endlessly to get whistleblowers to come forward and has been working with members of congress to bring this to light. Nothing will change if no one does anything. Imagine if we took that stance on every policy.
So tell me, what laws were broken? What laws will the alleged aliens follow?
This was a waste of time.
It does nothing to change anything.
@feloneouscat Do not assume they don't. If you won't take the time to actually look into it and see where the funding is coming from, who is using it and what is being suppressed, then you have a mute point, in which case continuing this conversation is the waste of time.
Okay, let me make it clear: I do not have any interest in silly stories that have zero scientific evidence.
And, no, my point is not “mute” (moot) — Congress is not an appropriate forum for something that cannot be legislated.
@feloneouscat There is evidence. You just choose not to research it. You're like someone who criticizes a movie and never watches it. I don't have time for closed minded individuals. Bye!
I require facts. You have none. There quite literally is nothing to research.
That isn’t being closed minded, that’s requiring a basic minimum before consideration. Hearsay is not evidence.
Gonna disagree. We can do more than one thing at once. 👽

Sure, feel free to disagree. Nor did I say we can’t do more than one thing.
However this waste of time changes no laws, affects no funding nor furthers governance.

@Cosmichomicide @feloneouscat all in one day!!
@DavidKMresists @Cosmichomicide
At no point did I say we can only do one thing at a time.
Feel free to attack this straw man.
Nope - just that all of those are a waste of time - in my mind and by your criteria. None produce law, none produce amendments, none produce actions.
Just hearings, committee meetings and such.
Who gets to choose?
No, they all have the potential to produce law and funding.
The UFO one never did. Because at the end of the day there is no proof. Nor could anything be done.

Wasting money is what the Pentagon does best.
Yeah, this guy had no first hand information. All hearsay with a touch of “I can’t speak in the open about it” 🤣😂🤣
What a load of rubbish.
@feloneouscat @Cosmichomicide It sure was pretty underwhelming !
@Tattoomonkey29 @Cosmichomicide
I didn’t watch it. Instead read the lowlights. Ugh. What a waste of money.
@feloneouscat it’s worse because it sounds like they are going to waste more time and money.
@Gambit_1 OMG why?
“If they had shot at us, we’d be sitting ducks”
If I had a money tree I’d be a billionaire. But I’m not. Why? Because money trees don’t exist!
Just like U Fucking O’s.
@feloneouscat because he said there were things he couldn’t say in the open, so they discussed a “secure” hearing. 🤦
@feloneouscat I feel it's an important thing but tired of congress treating as unimportant and wasting our time.
