I don’t have much in the way of extra kitchen gadgets.. just the things I use all of the time. We keep it simple, around here. I did remember it was a whisk but not at first. Lol

I have a thin small whisk that I use when mixed up a small batch of powdered milk or stirring an iced coffee and a full-size whisk that I use for more than three eggs or more than two cups of liquid.

@see_the_sus @Museek @feloneouscat This is totally snark. I am a pretty high maintenance cook, but what you described made me feel like I had a fork and some Menchies spoons.

Menchies is a frozen yogurt place (Montgomery & Juan Tabo) that give out plastic spoons with their yogurt.

50/50 for me: some days the rhythm will be “Oh? I thought I hated this whisk!” And other days it will be “Confirmed. I hate this whisk.”

To be fair I use an egg slicer to slice mushrooms. Works remarkably well!

I had a mixer but I think someone threw it out in a purge and so I really do need to get another masher or a mixer.

I only got it for the mushrooms because I hate buying precut (whole stay fresher for a LOT longer). So then it was “so… how do I resolve the prep time?” Boom!

I’ve actually used it to slice eggs when making egg salad. 🤣

@feloneouscat anything that saves time! And if you use it then it’s worthwhile! And especially when you use it fir it’s intended purpose. I haven’t made mashed potatoes in probably two years. At thanksgiving 😂 they like them though.. I leave the skin on because they’re supposed to be good for you. Not the thing to be using a whisk to mash though 🙃
