I'm interviewing an expert on the #MeToo movement. (Her book on the subject is coming out next month.) What would you ask her?
@Old_Dave You could just tell 'em, "Do the right thing because your asses will get sued if you don't."
I have strong personal opinions of my own about our human ability to create social change, but they don't belong here. I should keep this to the "what to ask her?" topic. (I'm an optimist, though.)
@Old_Dave Can you give me an example of what you run into? That might be a good way for me to ask about this. "Dave listened to a board member say BLAH BLAH BLAH. What's the best way for him to respond?"
@estherschindler
It's just opinion stuff, mostly 'trump good, hitlery and the dems bad, want socializm and our gunz' type bullshit.
When Barr pulled a no-show they were 'good, why should he waste his time?"
They see no problem with the executive ignoring anything the executive thinks it should ignore, and will not admit if this was the repubs asking Q's of president hillary and she did the same thing, they would lose their effing minds and call for armed insurrection.
@estherschindler
She may be in a position to know based on contact with others, then.
There's a board where I post stuff that gores strongly against the grain, they tell me I must be a paid democrat propagandist (I'm not even a strong dem supporter) because they are pro-trump and I am not, but I merely tell them that no, my role is to ensure that not one of them can ever say
"I didn't know".
