I'm interviewing an expert on the movement. (Her book on the subject is coming out next month.) What would you ask her?

@estherschindler
"Are you doing this with the thought that some near term change might actually come from it, or are you doing it because even though the probability of actual change is tiny, not any opportunity to advance this cause can morally be missed?"

@Old_Dave Good question. Though this woman is more historian and chronicler than activist.

@estherschindler
She may be in a position to know based on contact with others, then.
There's a board where I post stuff that gores strongly against the grain, they tell me I must be a paid democrat propagandist (I'm not even a strong dem supporter) because they are pro-trump and I am not, but I merely tell them that no, my role is to ensure that not one of them can ever say
"I didn't know".

@Old_Dave Can you give me an example of what you run into? That might be a good way for me to ask about this. "Dave listened to a board member say BLAH BLAH BLAH. What's the best way for him to respond?"

@estherschindler
It's just opinion stuff, mostly 'trump good, hitlery and the dems bad, want socializm and our gunz' type bullshit.
When Barr pulled a no-show they were 'good, why should he waste his time?"
They see no problem with the executive ignoring anything the executive thinks it should ignore, and will not admit if this was the repubs asking Q's of president hillary and she did the same thing, they would lose their effing minds and call for armed insurrection.

@Old_Dave Ah, gotcha. I'm looking more towards in the workplace. There's a cross-over with politics but that isn't the issue (at least not in this magazine).
