seems some are saying Trump might have pocket pardoned himself and family and others like his fuckwited lawyer
pardons don't have to be announced...so he could've pardoned person X and they keep it until such time they are charged with said crime, and pull out a literal "get out of jail free" card
it's pretty out there...normally pardons or commutations are bestowed upon those already convicted and serving their sentence
it's kind of a bastardization of the process to say "hey POTUS, I committed this crime, but no one has found out yet...lil help?"

@ecksmc The president can issue pardons that are more or less sealed. So when the courts come a knocking the recipient of that pardon can then unseal it. That's kind of the long and short of it. I don't think it's ever been done before, but when has that stopped Trump? here is a link

@ecksmc you only need to declare the pardon if you have been charged/convicted so that you can get out of jail, not face trial etc.
If it is preemptive, you don't need to bring it out until you need it. At least that's the theory flying about.
One thing you can bet is that they will all be charged with a Federal crime quickly to find out if they have it. And in the case of 
to challenge the legality of it.
It's a dumb move if they did it.
@ecksmc would be stupid - all the DOJ would have to do is charge him as individual 1. He pulls out the pardon - bobs your uncle he is at the SCOTUS testing the validity of self pardon.
