Why use the local fiber internet instead of comcast...

I jsut checked the pricing... I pay $70 flat rate to the city for 1gb up adn down. That includes device rental and replacement if it stops functioning. I have had ONE instance of it cutting out on me, and that was for maybe a minute.

Comcast, $75 without device rental, won't list the device rental. And when I used them for internet, there was an outage at least once a week. And it was hours not minutes.
