@duglop I don't see how his race is relevant at all, & that last bit of what you said sounds suuuper racist TBH.
Seems like:
A) he's probably a psychopath given eyewitness descriptions [FWIW IIRC psychopaths are much more common in spec ops than in regular units]; &
B) It seems paranoia/delusions (mental illness) may've been a factor.
In other words, it's more complex than just - to quote what you said - "another [racial epithet] piece of garbage". See what I mean about that sounding racist?

If you're one of those people who thinks "it's only racism/discrimination if it's against the historically oppressed"... that's a load of crap.
Race-based hatred is racist regardless of who's hating / who they hate, & it's ALWAYS dangerous.
Case in point, Rwandan genocide: the historically-oppressed Hutu mass-murdered/raped the historically-favored Tutsis due to racial hatred.

There's simply no need to make it about race, because so far as I can tell race held no particular relevance in that case - and even if it had, other factors (schizophrenic paranoia/delusions; likely psychopathy; possible PTSD; the fact that as a spec ops soldier he was trained and expected to be able to kill; etc) were clearly more prominent determinants.
