Just heard a very loud pop like a glass broke right next to me, but nothing is broke and my cat's on the couch - hmmmmm
Seriously, I don't smell anything that could have "burnt out", don't see any broken glass, everything is still working around me - this is quite strange

@Armchaircouch at first thought it might have been an led light (they do pop loud like that) but all my lights seem to be working properly....
i hear odd sounds occasionally too around here. when i check, nothing. sound is deceptive though. sometimes it's hard to tell whence it came.

very strange, yes. is it possible you nodded off for a moment and dreamed the sound?
that's happened to me before, usually when it's time to get up and i snooze a bit not wanting to leave the cozy warmth.
but occasionally when i'm reading for a long time, it can happen.
