Today was rough during the parade and the ceremonies afterwards. Not ashamed to say yes, I broke down and cried...
BTW, yes I'm a VET
Crying is not a sign of weakness, so don't ever be ashamed of your tears.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your service. 💕🇺🇲
@duglop ❤️
@duglop I’m sorry it was hard however please commend yourself your honest strength in letting yourself feel ❤️
Thank you always for your service ❤️🇺🇸
@Isces1 Thank you! I always try to be strong on Memorial Day to honor my buddy Steve - he'd want it that way! But this year I couldn't... I think Steve would have understood... and that doesn't include the tears for all the other fallen brothers/sisters WE lost as a nation!
@duglop Ya man... be sure to reach out to a buddy if you need to... always a tough time - try to remember and talk about the good times. Let it out, brother there is no shame in that.
@duglop Much peace and calm to you on this day 💙❤️
@duglop Definitely ok to cry. Thank you for your service. We don’t say that enough.
