This presidential election was decided before the first mail in ballot was counted?
Harris dropped out before even half of the votes were counted?
Is that not hasty? Did we not decide this one before votes were counted? Dems have no problem with this?
@sirgeefive i did wonder why she conceded when the battlegrounds hadn't all been counted. they were just 'called' by some media. but there were still so many ballots to count.
i guess for stability of the country? that they knew something about the data as things were being counted? i dunno.
it just seemed pre-emptive for her to have done it wed am. i thought she'd have waited this thurs or fri. oh well.
@singlemaltgirl @sirgeefive "that they knew something about the data" yes. they knew how many ballots had been cast, and they knew how many would have to be cast for Harris in order to flip the results, and it was statistically highly improbable for that many Harris votes to be outstanding.
look, I'm devastated too. but it is abundantly clear that American voters are both too stupid and too sexist for this to be anything other than a legitimate Trump win. it's just who we are as a country.
