Maybe this will help Bring some peace or ease the emotions that I know that we’re all feeling right now it’s not our lesson to learn it’s their lesson. Let them on it and enjoy it. We don’t have to learn it because we learned these things a long time ago. It’s their lesson to learn. Yeah, they played this stupid game and now they’re gonna win the stupid prizes.

I don't think that's the only way to get to know others or the self, but as long as there's gonna be adversity, we might as well show the world who we really are when we need to be.
@AskTheDevil i think the thing is there really isn't a singular "we" in this country. there really are two americas, and it's just a constant battle between which one is in charge at any given time.
@dietotaku I think it's a battle in the human spirit, not merely a battle in some country.
Ultimately, I feel like it's between the urge to control and use, or the urge to support and share. Greed versus altruism, slavery versus freedom, authoritarianism versus humanism, life and death, good and evil.
We should look behind the masks of party and creed. It's about who we are and what we do, not what we call ourselves.
Let's not pretend to each other any more.
