so abortion is murder, and accidentally destroying IVF embryos is murder, but intentionally destroying them because the couple is done with IVF is not murder. Republican hypocrisy at its finest.
Right? I've been regularly looking at housing up north, and we can't wait to move. For what we spend in Texass we can get a more affordable home on a large bit of beautiful wooded land nestled away from people (and have actual seasons!) - AND be in a state where women and LGBTQ+ are still considered people.
@dietotaku Wow. I live in PA. Where is that 3000 sq ft for $100k?
@GeezerWench johnstown is where i've been finding most of them, but there have been a few in places like oil city. all pretty rural/small town looking places, too far from big cities like pittsburgh for our comfort since hubby has leukemia & needs a top tier hospital nearby
@dietotaku Yeah. That's what I figured. It would have to be fairly rural.
Where we live is rural, but we're between Philadelphia and Baltimore, so stuff isn't cheap here. Trouble is, husband has Rheumatoid Arthritis and the closest Rheumatologist is over 40 miles away, through back country roads. Then there's the heart doc over 30 miles away in the other direction.
It kinda sucks.
@dietotaku more twisting than a pretzel
@dietotaku They pretend to a moral axiom, but their true axiom is "we want to control others, but do whatever we feel like. We like taking away things other people like so they'll suffer, but we get special privileges to keep any of it that we like for ourselves."
We're trying to argue with goblins here. There's no sense, no logic, no honesty.
@dietotaku "MINE! MINE! YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT! DON'SMILEIHATEYOU!"
Yeah. Argue with that.
The only thing you can do with that is hit it over the head with a shovel, and bury it under the rosebushes.
@AskTheDevil or offer it a bag of lips to move out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcEE8J2Bqa8
maybe this will help people stop seeing Texas as having "affordable housing." 2 bedrooms for $300k is shit. and I'm still waiting for them to do "what you get for $100k" and highlight some of these 3000sqft houses in Illinois & Pennsylvania. hell for $300k you can own an entire church in some of these places, why do they only look at tiny-ass shacks?
