I donโt think there will be confirmation hearings. All will slide through when the new GOP-led Senate calls a recess before the inauguration. Gaetz is universally disliked on a non-partisan basis so I expect the Ethics report will find its way into the public square. It will be interesting to see how DOJ, DOD, Intelligence civil servants handle their new overlords.

@dauphin87 Gaetz is hideously unpopular in the Bonkers GOP.
I am not sure that he would survive a full-blown confirmation hearing.
I believe that Trump will lean heavily on the recess appointment dodge, with many of his Cabinet members having the prefix of "Acting".
If he fires them, he will do it during a recess, so he can appoint another sycophant to take their places.
