This morning I've been thinking about the lies and disinformation out there regarding #Christianity. Everyone on CoSo understands that rightwing media like Fox News lies but they also think that Christianity as portrayed by rightwing media is accurate.
Why? Because it's not. 🤔
If a person (or news organization) knowingly pushes lies in one area then they cannot be trusted in any area.
But then God explained a deeper truth. Some people will use any excuse to ignore Him.
And I was sad.
@danielbsmith most religions have a majority of the "just wanna be a good person and be kind to others," people. They all, unfortunately, have fringe coo coo banana head groups who are incredibly loud about their coocoo banana-headedness.
@danielbsmith That's an interesting point. They show a sample of Christianity and say it's all of Christianity.
