I don't have any year end wisdom, nor New Year pronouncements. I do have a broom, a mop, and hard wood floors to clean. This seems very appropriate to me. Not just the ritual of maintenance, and cleaning. But the task orientation of doing rather than talking about doing. This time of year is filled with lists, resolutions, and reflections. Yet the future is built on right actions, and right intentions. I read of hope, of good wishes, and of dreams. But it don't get the floors clean.
@corlin A good scrub at the start of the year is an excellent thing. I'm about to start such a project, after dinner.
@corlin Cleaning my floors was yesterday's work. It was good work.
