Groff says that he was treated differently because he was a Christian. I think that much is true. He was offered scheduling advantages that other workers did not receive, but that still was not enough for him.

@captainkudzu That guy isn't acting like a Christian. Being arrogant? Using his beliefs like a cudgel? I think he's using this to get weekends off and/or money. Do we know anything about a place of worship that he attends? You'd think that would be in the reporting. Americans are lousy at following through on claims but that's exactly what should be done here.
