CoSo hive mind? A friend who is a doctor just got named in an inflammatory article on a far right website. She has little kids at home and doesnt want to get dozed swatted etc. She didnt have a lot of social media but they put her name out there. What are the good scrub you off the internet services so they cant find her address? The city and everything is in the article?
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine That's no bueno, so sorry. She should talk to the local cops ASAP for 2 reasons; so they're aware and so they can initiate investigations.
at minimum it lets her get police awareness of her situation on file in the event someone tries to swat her house or come on to her property.
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine The local cops likely can't do much but give the S/FBI a heads up and start to create their own processes to deal with this in the future. SWATting is an epidemic and that little stunt was a precursor act.
@b4cks4w @Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine At least if local law enforcement and sherrif’s office know, they will be able to maybe prevent swatting(?) they will know she is a target and might patrol the neighborhood a bit more.
