This diagram from Motor Trend comparing electric vehicles - #EVs - with internal combustion engine - ICE - vehicles is fascinating. I’ve found that use of regenerative braking enables me to get considerably more range on my new Volvo C40 Recharge - this confirms that it can achieve 22% more efficiency.
@cassandra17lina very useful; thanks! I’ve got a 13yo Volvo XC60 (Hermione) that now goes to my 17yo son - so looking at the new Volvos. Likely will get a hybrid though as not sure about full electrical given I do a lot of cross-🇨🇦 driving between Edmonton and Vancouver Island.

@b4cks4w @JGSchaeffer My physicist-engineer husband who spends thousands of hours a year researching cars says that they can, but not to the degree of effectiveness as an EV with one-pedal driving.
