My guess would be the DEA, ATF, and FBI were going to the guys apartment for a search. He fled and when they stopped him that’s when the shooting happened.
The area of the apartment they're searching is known for being sketchy and has a history of problems.
The husband of one of my acquaintances is a Fargo police officer. He wasn’t working because he is on medical leave due to a brain tumor surgery. Unfortunately they found out that his brain tumor diagnosis is high stage brain cancer 😢
