@_Hunter I waver between nihilism and wanting to take better care of myself. Eventually the switch will flip. Slowly getting back to better habits. I chalk a little bit up to age as well 😩
@annamuneca @_Hunter I used to feel like that after long days sitting/standing. Like gravity was winning and slowly compressing me into a flat disk. Then it occurred to me, that was precisely the problem AND the solution. I finally invested in an inversion table. Really, really helped to resolve the pain faster, realign hips/vertebrae and widen the disc space to allow those nerves/muscles to relax. Leg stretches helps alot, but zero gravity did the trick!
@TessNam @_Hunter I have “diagnosed” tight hip muscles 🙄 so I’m supposed to be doing hip/low back stretches but I don’t do them often enough. Obviously.
One of those situations where I know the problem and know how to fix it but I just.. don’t until it bugs me. I need to be more proactive vs reactive.
@annamuneca Oh, I hear you! I would get so tight that I couldn't find any comfortable position. My hips became so tilted that one leg would become 1/2 inch shorter than the other.
@annamuneca @TessNam sounds about right. We all know what we *should* be doing.....eh?
@_Hunter @annamuneca Intellectually yes...it's that OTHER voice 😆
@TessNam @annamuneca ^^^many much this^^^
@annamuneca yeah I was doing it regularly for a while along with a few other things...I'm so out of shape. I need to really get back into my cycle of good habits.
