still boggles my mind that when I post "URL Shorteners are pointless on CoSo*, and incredibly dangerous regardless" I always; without fail, get a response of "no, URL Shorteners are lyfe"

[*] all URLs in CoSo posts are shortened internally and take up a fixed 23 characters regardless of length
