I'm extremely tired of idiots defending religion, and defending their right to believe in an invisible sky-father, AND to demand that we take them seriously when they insist on talking to us about it.
And also it's a nonsense assertion.
Are these people from Missouri?
@TwiHusband are you aware it is a 9 yrs old joke from a satire account on facebookk?
or am i the one missing the joke here??
@BLuOXide @TwiHusband In Stargazer's defense, there are people who believe that (though not as over the top about it). This "woman's boss" as they put it in the headline, is a representative in the state capitol. Like, okay, a little misinfo, but scarily enough, an understandable mistake.
@BLuOXide Part of the problem these days is that Conservative Christianity...and religion in general....is so batshit crazy that you can't distinguish satire from an actual policy position. As far as I'm concerned, they've brought THAT on themselves with their toxic god.
Around the nation, women and girls are DYING, or being physically damaged for life, due to "Christian" policy-making. I rest my case.
I would be more okay with it if they just wanted to talk about it. No, they want us to adhere to their nonsensical sky-god stuff. That is a bridge to far.
@TwiHusband
Not their business.
